Life is the epic journey that we all must undertake while we still tread on this earth. The younger generation have coined a phrase ‘Y.O.L.O.‘, which means you only live once. It is meant to mean one should live his/her life to the fullest. So they say! The life that we have is quite a jewel, once lost there is no rewind button. We do not have the privilege of nine lives like cat.
Living a full and happy life is all dependent on the choices you make. Each and every moment that you take in that sweet purifying breath you need to be grateful for another day yet see. It is not an automatic right to be alive, many fail to see the light of another day as life is extinguished from their very breath.
Life is a dream for the wise, a game for the fool, a comedy for the rich and a tragedy for the poor.If you decide to take on life, choose a path that will shower you with happiness and is fulfilling. William W. Purkey says,“You’ve got to dance like there’s nobody watching, love like you’ll never be hurt, sing like there’s nobody listening and live like it’s heaven on earth”. We should not keep on complicating life as it is quite simple.
You only need to live once and if you do it right, then that is more than enough. Life is a song to be sung, a game to be played, a challenge to be meet , a dream to be realized, a sacrifice to be offered and lastly a love to be enjoyed. In the words of Albert Einstein he said,“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.”.
You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consist of. You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life. The most important thing is to enjoy your life, to be happy, for that is all that matters.
