“ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” John 3:16. This is the most well known verse in the whole world. It shows us the sacrifice that God had to make so as to show us that He did love us. The things that Jesus had to endure for the seek of mankind were the most challenging, mind draining, body and psychologically torturing of their kind.
Taking our maker seriously does not mean that you shun those who you are close to but that you try to live and follow in the foot steps of Christ. The greatest commandment that we were given is that we should love our neighbors as we love ourselves. Which is quite a challenge as most of us detest those who live near or around us. At the opening of an opportunity we are the first to stab them in the back or betray their trust.
In the coming times i have seen people turn against each other. As the love which existed between them faded away and they were filled with hate. The kind of loathing that has no place in people’s heart. When Jesus came to earth He showed His love to all who were willing to accept Him, regardless of who they were and what they had done. The love that was shown had no measure. Yet as humans we fail to follow the simple example illustrated by the creator of the heavens and the earth.
When we shall learn to accept each other as we are and share the love within, the kind of peace we can experience will be more than enough to keep us all going for eternity. In all that you do always ask yourself, “what will Jesus do?”. Let love come from within our hearts and not be shown as a way of gaining favour in the eyes of others. If you decide to let God take control of your life let Him have the whole of it, He knows best and has all your interests at heart.
