There is a silent rule in the world when it comes to respect, it is not just given aimlessly like candy but it has to be earned. Once you have my respect you need not violate it but maintain it cause it is not dished out easily. Respect is not something that you can ask for, buy or borrow. You have to earn it from each and every person no matter their back ground or status.
Honesty is the first chapter of the book of wisdom.I believe saying the truth will and shall always set you free no matter how messy the situation is. Am not saying that it will feel all good but it is better than roping in lies which you can’t keep track of. A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is still putting on its shoes. Honesty is the rarest wealth anyone can possess.
Trust is one key component of any relation between two or more individuals. I have learned that it takes years to build up trust and it only takes suspicion, no proof to destroy it. Here is something i read somewhere,”A little girl and her father were crossing a bridge. The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter:’Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don’t fall into the river’. The little girl said,’No, dad, you hold my hand’.
‘What’s the difference?’ asked the puzzled father. ‘There is a big difference’, replied the little girl. ‘If i hold your hand and something happens to me, chances are that i may let your hand go. But if you hold my hand. i now for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go’. In any kind of relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind but in its bond.
We should have loyalty run in our bloodstream to the extent that when you lock on something or someone they can’t get away from you because you are thoroughly committed to them. Loyalty is a two way traffic for those who deserve it receive it. When people show loyalty to you, you take care of those who are with you. It is how it goes with everything. If you have a small circle of friends and one doesn’t stay loyal to you, they don’t stay your friend for long.
