LAUGHTER SO RARE

To laugh is so rare around us that most people tend to have a straight or serious expression written on their faces.I am not saying being serious is a bad thing but at times one needs to let loose and try to enjoy a moment. It is stated that we use less facial muscle when we smile than when we are serious, but do not take my word for it.It could all be a way of tricking us to laugh.
A good laugh comes from within,in such a manner that some times it will make your ribs ache, bring tears to your eyes, make you roll on the ground….
For example a lawyer asked this in a court, “Now, doctor, isn’t it true that when a person dies in his sleep, in most cases he just passes quietly away and doesn’t know anything about it until the next morning?”
Here is another one, “A doctor of psychology was doing his normal morning rounds when he entered a patient’s room. He found Patient #1 sitting on the floor, pretending to saw a piece of wood in half. Patient #2 was hanging from the ceiling, by his feet. The doctor asked patient number 1 what he was doing. The patient replied, “Can’t you see I’m sawing this piece of wood in half?” The doctor inquired of Patient #1 what Patient #2 was doing. Patient #1 replied, “Oh. He’s my friend, but he’s a little crazy. He thinks he’s a lightbulb.” The doctor looks up and notices Patient #2’s face is going all red.The doctor asks Patient #1, “If he’s your friend, you should get him down from there before he hurts himself” Patient #1 replies, “What? And work in the dark?”.
All this are simple sentences yet they have at least made you smile and some have even laughed. Yet it only took less than 5 minutes to bring a cheer into your world.Learn to laugh, it helps in making you healthier and your day brighter. As we say laughter is the best medicine.
