The journey of a thousand miles begins & starts with just that single first step. No one said that there is a short cut to get to the top, who am I kidding most people in this cursed life as it is deemed, use every means necessary to get to top. It is indeed a sad state of affairs that we no longer try to follow a set path to attain our happiness but use all kinds of devious tricks to conquer the world.
Well, for those of us who don’t live & believe in the maxim of survival for the fittest, we shall march forward with the use of our intellect to eat the sweet ripe fruits of our sweat. All I know is that all that comes easy comes with a steep price to be paid later on. If you want something that will last, you need to work for it no matter how long you think it will take to achieve it.
You will feel the worth of it after working tirelessly to acquire it rather than getting involved in a get rich quick scheme which I assure has its own setbacks. It may seem to take forever but just like the Israelites it took a while to get to the land of milk and honey but eventually they set foot on the promised land. You have to be willing to be patient, though I understand it is not an easy thing to do.
The best of things come to those who are willing & ready to wait but am not saying that you sit idle and do nothing. You have to play your part as this life does not hand things for free, even those which are free have a hidden cost to be paid. We have to continuously believe that though there are many obstacles blocking our vision we can find a way around them and get to our end goal.
When you are travelling to a distant land for a vacation. it usually feels like as if you will never reach but when you are there you appreciate the serene environment . Same applies to life when we have a set goal, we should never lose focus on where we want to be, because at the end of the day it is us who will get to enjoy the fruits laying in wait.
