MASTERING CHANGE.

image
How we change once we enter the pearly gates of our true desires shunning the very existence of the pit that we crawled out of. We end up feigning selective amnesia as to where we came from and pretending that we did not come from the beckoning abyss of a hustlers life. It is a wonder that the few who get to dine at the big boys table distance themselves from the supposed “common folk”. Looking down at those who are still struggling to reach the top and trying to escalate in the social ladder.
Now back to the matter at hand. It is said that we are defined by our patience when we have nothing and our attitude once we get all that we want. Such is the hard truth that we fail to realize that we are destined for greater things, if only we learned how to cope with the surprises of life. The difference between an obstacle and an opportunity is our attitude towards it. every opportunity has a difficulty and every difficulty has an opportunity.
It is by attempting to reach the top in a single leap that so much misery is produced in the world. Consider the hour-glass, there is nothing to be accomplished by rattling or shaking it. You have to wait patiently until the sand, grain by grain, has run from one funnel into the other. You can’t control what happens to you, but you can control your attitude towards what happens to you and in that you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you.
Sometimes, no matter how much you want things to happen all you can do is wait and usually, waiting is the hardest part. Everything you will need will come to you at the perfect time……… you just have to be patient and wait for it. As it is known that the trees that are slow to grow are the ones that bear the best fruit. Patience in anything is not our ability to wait but rather our ability to keep a good attitude while waiting.
While we are in wonderland let us not forget that you have to be weary of that which defines you. If you are unable to distinguish between the abyss and the pit falls, well then let us just say that you are a lost cause. Anyway not all hope is dwindling, for we are yet to uncover our true potential. It is all a matter of how we perceive things that we encounter on our life journey. Your attitude towards all that crosses your path is a key to your well being.
